ABSTRACT:
Stable azeotrope-like compositions of 1,1,1,3,3,5,5,5-octafluoropentane, C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkanol and optionally nitromethane have been discovered which are useful as degreasing agents and as solvents in a variety of industrial cleaning applications including cold cleaning and defluxing of printed circuit boards and dry cleaning.
