ABSTRACT:
Formation of tucked-in type selvages on a shuttleless weaving loom is carried out in the area in front of the reed by cooperation of a pair of coacting grippers and a cutter, movements of these elements being in the form of a combination of swinging about a fixed point and sliding in the warp direction, the course of movement of the grippers before cutting of the weft end being different from that after cutting of same.
