ABSTRACT:
The low intensity reciprocity failure characteristics of a silver halide emulsion are improved, without significant reduction of high intensity speed, by incorporating iridium ion into the silver halide grains after or toward the end of the precipitation of the grains in such a way that iridium is below the surface of the grains.
