ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a homogeneous accelerator system for epoxy resins and to a method of curing such epoxy resins, wherein the system comprises (a) an inorganic salt which contains a nitrate ion, (b) aliphatic hydroxy compound selected from monohydric alcohols containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the molecule, polyhydric alcohols containing 2 to 10 carbon atoms and 2 to 4 hydroxy groups in the molecule, and poly (C.sub.2-5 alkylene) glycols and (c) an aminophenol.
