ABSTRACT:
Bis-p-pivaloyl benzylamines, e.g. 4',4'"-[(N,N'-dimethyl-1,2-ethanediyldiimino)dimethylene]bis(pivalophenone ) are prepared by treating a sym-dimethylethylenediamine with a corresponding .alpha.-halo-p-pivaloyl toluene and are useful as hypolipidemic agents.
