ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein X is O or NR.sup.3 in which R.sup.3 is hydrogen or alkyl; X.sup.1 is oxygen or sulfur; Y is hydrogen, halogen, cyano, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio or haloalkyl; Z is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl; and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently may be hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl and R is hydrogen or methyl are useful as herbicides.
