ABSTRACT:
A method of synthesizing metal chromites comprising melting metal oxides including chromium oxide in an equimolar ratio. The oxides are melted under the action of a high-frequency electric field with the addition to the metal oxides of an electrically conductive material having an electric resistivity of no more than 10 Ohm.cm at 20.degree. C and in an amount of at least 0.05% by weight.
