ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to 1,2,3,3a,8,8a-hexahydro-1,3a,8-trimethylpyrrolo[2,3-b]indol-5-ol carbonate esters of the ##STR1## the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof and where applicable to the geometric and optical isomers and racemic mixtures thereof. The compounds of this invention display utility as analgesic agents.
