ABSTRACT:
A method for calculating the power consumption of a mobile device, particularly of a mobile station of a mobile radio system, in an observation period Δt based on various possible system states skin which the device can be in the period Δt. A value of a quantity Δkis determined system-state-dependently for the system states skoccurring in the period Δt. The power consumption in the period Δt is calculated in such a manner that the quantities Δkand state-dependent typical currents ikare taken into consideration.
