ABSTRACT:
A self-energizing disc brake includes a brake caliper or frame, the application device for applying at least one brake at least one brake pad unit, and at least one electromotive drive as an actuator for actuating the application device. The application device also has two or more brake plungers, wherein the two brake plungers are connected to one another by a connecting plate. At least one or more ramp arrangements is/are formed in the region adjacent to the brake plungers between the brake pad unit and the connecting plate.
