ABSTRACT:
Golf ball2has numerous dimples8. Provided that mean diameter of all the dimples8is Da, ratio (N1/N) of number N1 of adjacent dimple pairs having a pitch of (Da/4) or less to total number N of the dimples is equal to or greater than 2.70. Ratio (N2/N1) of number N2 of the adjacent dimple pairs having a pitch of (Da/20) or less to the number N1 is equal to or greater than 0.50. The northern hemisphere N and the southern hemisphere S of this golf ball2have a pole vicinity region20, an equator vicinity region22and a coordination region24, respectively. The pole vicinity region20includes 5 units which are rotationally symmetric each other centered on the pole point P. The equator vicinity region22includes 6 units which are rotationally symmetric each other centered on the pole point P. The coordination region24does not include any unit.
