ABSTRACT:
An organic electroluminescent device having a pair of electrodes, at least one organic layer between the pair of electrodes, the one organic layer including a light-emitting layer, wherein the one organic layer contains a compound represented by formula (I):wherein Q1represents an atomic group necessary for forming an unsaturated ring together with the carbon atom, Q2and Q3each independently represents an atomic group necessary for forming an unsaturated ring together with the nitrogen atom, the atomic group of each of Q1, Q2and Q3may have a hydrogen atom or a substituent, L1and L2each independently represents a linking group which may have a substituent, n represents 0 or 1, and A1represents a structure containing an atom bonded to the platinum atom.
