ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides an authentication card inserted to a portable device. The authentication card1is inserted (installed) in a cellular phone30and the authentication card2is inserted (installed) in a PDA40. The authentication card1comprises an identification code transmission unit10and the authentication card2comprises a usage restriction cancellation unit20. The units10and20exchange the identification code by means of wireless signal and mutually authenticate the identification code mutually. In case that the PDA40is moved more than the predetermined distance from the cellular phone30and the reception level of signal from the unit10received by the unit20is smaller than the predetermined value, or the unit20can not authenticate the identification code of the unit10, the unit20stops transmission of the usage restriction cancellation signal to the PDA40.
