ABSTRACT:
To provide an organic EL drive circuit capable of reducing luminance variation or luminance unevenness of a display device while restricting an increase of circuit side even when reference currents are not uniform or the current conversion accuracy of D/A converters for converting display data according to the reference currents is some what low and an organic EL display device using the same organic EL drive circuit.A selection circuit for selecting a predetermined current (reference current or reference drive current) is provided between each of current generator circuits and each of current sources provided correspondingly to output terminals of driver to select one of a predetermined current of the current generator circuit corresponding to the output terminal assigned thereto and a predetermined current from a current generator circuit adjacent to the current generator circuit correspondingly to a row side scanning. The selection is performed correspondingly to, for example, a row side scan of a horizontal one line.
