ABSTRACT:
A cathodically depositable aqueous electro-dipping lacquer coating which contain as binder, which binder can be diluted with water by protonization with acids, 55 to 95% by weight based on the total quantity of binder, of organic synthetic resin binders containing amino groups, having an average molecular weight (Mn) of about 500 to 10,000, a pK.sub.b value of about 3 to 7 and an amine value of about 30 to 150 and 45 to 5% by weight of cross-linking agents having an average molecular weight (Mn) of about 500 to 5,000, which contain esterified terminal carboxyl groups.
