A pump aggregate A comprises a one-piece cast hollow body1including an exterior connection block3and an interior lateral wall16of a bearing shield. A pressure transmission path is formed by a channel K which is made by casting in the lateral wall16of the bearing shield and which extends from the connection block3into a pump element mounting surface18, 18′, 18″of the lateral wall16of the bearing shield.
