ABSTRACT:
6-Chloro-3-methyl-1H-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-3-benzazepine-N-oxide is prepared by mild oxidation of the corresponding amine. It has been found to have prolonged .alpha..sub.2 -antagonistic or antihypertensive activity.
