ABSTRACT:
There are provided a lens barrel unit and an imaging apparatus in which a plurality of constituent elements can be driven using a linear driving mechanism. The lens barrel unit6comprises: an actuator31for positioning a driving member40that is linearly movable along a driving shaft39; a movably supported first moving member33that is linked to a lens13; a movably supported second moving member36; a first force-applying member34that applies a force to the first moving member33in a direction to cause the first moving member33to contact the driving member40, thus causing the first moving member33to follow linear movement of the driving member40; a first restricting member70that limits movement of the first moving member33, thus isolating the first moving member33from the driving member40; a second force-applying member37that applies a force to the second moving member36in a direction to cause the second moving member36to contact the driving member40, thus causing the second moving member33to follow linear movement of the driving member40; and a second restricting member28athat limits movement of the second moving member36, thus isolating the second moving member33from the driving member40, wherein the direction of the force applied by the first force-applying member34and the direction of the force applied by the second force-applying member37are opposite.
