ABSTRACT:
The failure detecting apparatus includes an input circuit13connected to a temperature sensor53to detect various changes, for detecting the resistance of the temperature sensor53, a monitor circuit14connected in parallel to the input circuit13for monitoring the failure of the input circuit13, and a CPU1which is supplied with the resistance of the temperature sensor53detected by the input circuit13and in detecting failure of the monitor circuit14, switches its state between the inputting state receiving a signal from the monitor circuit14and the outputting state sending the signal to the monitor circuit14.
