A caliper2ais disposed between rotation input side and rotation output side engagement portions8, 9of a support member3aso as to restrict the movement of the caliper2ain a circumferential direction of a rotor1. A guide pin26which supports the caliper2ais passed through guide holes22formed in pressure plates11which make up respective pads10bin such a manner as to be capable of sliding in an axial direction of the rotor1, whereby the caliper2ais supported on the respective pads10battachably and detachably to the support member3awhile being allowed to move in the axial direction of the rotor1relative to the respective pads10b.
