ABSTRACT:
A zoom lens includes, in order from the object side, the first lens unit consisting of one negative lens component in which a plurality of lens components are cemented to one another and the second lens unit including one negative lens component and having positive refracting power as a whole. In this case, the zoom lens satisfies the following condition:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.15<t1/fw<0.6in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?where t1is the thickness, measured along the optical axis, of the first lens unit and fw is the focal length of the entire system at the wide-angle position of the zoom lens.
