ABSTRACT:
The present invention discloses a method of inter-frame Y/C separation. The method first samples a composite video signal for temporarily storing a plurality of sampled data FmPx,y, wherein the FmPx,yrepresents data of the y pixel at the x line of the m frame, and the m, x and y are integers larger than, or equal to, 0. Then the method measures a plurality of luma data Yx,yby the Fm+1Px,y, the FmPx,y, the Fm−1Px,yand the Fm−2Px,y, wherein Yx,yrepresents luma data of the y pixel of the x line. Finally, the method measures a plurality of chroma data Cx,yby the Fm+1Px,y, the FmPx,y, the Fm−1Px,yand the Fm−2Px,y, wherein Cx,yrepresents luma data of the y pixel of the x line.
