ABSTRACT:
Devices and methods for processing a signal emitted by a particle detector in which the methods include detecting in the signal the portions where the signal is greater than a predetermined value V1,measuring the maximum value Vmax reached by the signal in each of the portions, and associating with each of the portions an analog quantity Q which, at least in a predetermined range of values DELTA V1of the maximum value Vmax, is an increasing function of (Vmax−V1).
