ABSTRACT:
A fish loss prevention system for preventing the loss of a fish during ice fishing. The fish loss prevention system includes a base positionable in an ice hole, a support member extending upwardly from the base, a shaft slidably attached to the support member, a catch member attached to the support member and selectively engaging the shaft, and a stopper attached to the lower end of the shaft. The user rotates the shaft to block the ice hole after a fish is positioned within the ice hole to prevent the fish from passing out of the ice hole.
