ABSTRACT:
A method of preserving cut flowers and other parts of plants which have been cut off, comprising placing the flowers or parts of plants in water containing an N-(trifluoromethyl)-N-(dichlorofluoromethylsulphenyl)-aminobenzoic acid, or salt thereof, of the formula ##STR1## in which M is hydrogen or 1 equivalent of an alkali metal atom or of an alkaline earth metal atom, and
