ABSTRACT:
With a display device in which a main display component is supported in a tilted orientation by a stand unit, the leg of the stand unit will not be pushed in, causing the main display component to readily fall over backwards, even if the main display component in a tilted orientation should be accidentally pushed by hand. A stand unit A has a slider2affixed to the upper end of a leg3, a case1that houses the slider2, and a slider position restriction means5for restricting the slider2to two positions: an upper position and a lower position. The slider position restriction means5is equipped with a cam component6and a spring7. The spring7has an engagement component71, and the cam component6is equipped with a upper latching component61, a lower latching component62, and a wavy serrated face65that links these. The function of increasing the moving resistance when the engagement component71moves is imparted to the serrated face65.
