A miniature PMDC motor10has a permanent magnet stator comprising two arcuate ceramic magnets20fitted to a can-like housing11and circumferentially separated by interdisposed rubber magnets21wedging or nipping the ceramic magnets20in place within the housing11without the use of circumferential magnet stops formed in the side of the housing.
