A new distinct cultivar ofOtacanthusplant named ‘Calanda’, characterized by its compact plant habit; dense and bushy plant form, mainly due to upright stems; deep violet colored corolla (RHS N88A) and a white throat spot; and less need for chemical growth retardation, due to plant having shorter internodes, shorter branches and shorter plant height.
