ABSTRACT:
Apparatus10provides a combination scissor18and lighter20for the cutting and sealing of braided synthetic hair14made up of a cutting implement having two blades22, 24joined by a swivel pin26having handles28, 30at one distal end. One of the handles28has a chamber36therein for storing a quantity of a combustible substance therein. The chamber36has an input valve44for refilling the chamber and an output valve communicating with a conduit46extending through the blade22to the other distal end. Also located within the handle28and extending therefrom is an igniter switch40which when depressed opens the output valve on the chamber permitting the combustible substance to escape through the conduit to the distal end32of the blade22. Work in concert with the opening of the valve is an igniter to send a spark to the end of the distal end32of the blade22whereby the combustible fluid is ignited.
