ABSTRACT:
A vehicular lamp used in an automobile, includes: a light source module for generating light; and an optical member for directing the light generated by the light source module forward. The light source module includes: a semiconductor light-emitting element or device for generating light; a fluorescent member for emitting light in accordance with the light generated by the semiconductor light-emitting element, the fluorescent member covering a surface of the semiconductor light-emitting element; and a light-blocking member, formed to be opposed to the semiconductor light-emitting element with the fluorescent member sandwiched therebetween and cover a side of the semiconductor light-emitting element and a part of the fluorescent member, for blocking a part of the light generated by the semiconductor light-emitting element and a part of the light emitted by the fluorescent member.
