ABSTRACT:
For the subsurface reconstruction of buildings reinforced with constructional steel, the damaged concrete is drilled into until behind the corroded reinforcement, a solution of a modified alkali silicate having a Me.sub.2 O:SiO.sub.2 ratio of 1:2 to 1:3 is injected into the drilling hole under pressure and thereafter a cement-water sludge with alkali silicate solution or a mortar mixture is injected under pressure containing 2 to 6% by weight relative to the amount of cement of a finely composed amorphous silicic acid with at least 90% by weight SiO.sub.2 or finely composed, precipitated, active silicates of magnesium, calcium, barium or aluminum with a BET surface of 50 to 200 m.sup.2 /g and a d.sub.5 % value below 20 .mu.m.
