ABSTRACT:
Pyrrolidin-2-one derivatives of formula I: ##STR1## wherein X=H, OH, C.sub.2 -C.sub.7 acyloxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, cycloalkoxy or phenoxy, n=0 or 1 and m=2 or 3, have a marked nootropic activity.
