A mold M for molding a metallic product including a fixed mold section2and a movable mold section1, wherein heating means7is provided in the fixed mold section and cooling means10is provided in the movable mold section, which means are controlled by a temperature control device14so that any desired temperature is obtainable. Also, as the heating and the cooling of the mold are not repeated, but the fixed mold section is always heated and the movable mold section is always cooled, it is possible to shorten the cycle times.
