ABSTRACT:
An optical recording medium10comprises a disc body11,a white ink layer12provided on the label side11bof the disc body11,and an ink receiving layer13provided on the surface12aof the white ink layer12.The mean roughness (Ra) of the surface12aof the white ink layer12is set not greater than 0.2 μm. A step radially extended is left on the surface13aof the ink receiving layer13and set not greater than 1.0 μm. As the mean roughness (Ra) of the surface12aof the white ink layer12is not greater than 0.2 μm or as the step on the ink receiving layer13is not greater than 1.0 μm, high printing quality can be secured when printing is done with an ink-jet printer.
