ABSTRACT:
A flywheel assembly1is configured to transmit a torque from a crankshaft of an engine to an input shaft6of a transmission, and includes a flywheel2and a damper mechanism3.The flywheel2receives torque from the crankshaft. The damper mechanism3includes a pair of disk shaped plates11and12fixed together and coupled to the flywheel2,a hub15having a flange20arranged between the paired disk shaped plates11and12and transmitting a torque to the input shaft6,and coil springs16and17that are compressed in a rotational direction when relative rotation occurs between the disk shaped plate pair11and12and the flange20.A torsion angle stopper30is formed for stopping the relative rotation between the disk shaped plate pair11and12and the hub15.This configuration serves to prevent application of an excessively large torque to the elastic member in the flywheel assembly.
