ABSTRACT:
A thermal developing apparatus having a recording section16for exposing a thermal developing photosensitive material or a photosensitive thermal recording material (hereinafter referred to as a “thermal developing recording material”) to form a latent image, a control section A for controlling the recording section16, and a thermal developing section18for heating the thermal developing recording material by a heating member to carry out thermal development, comprising a sensor B1for measuring the surface temperature of a presser roller of the thermal developing section18and a light amount correcting circuit A1for correcting an amount of recording light of the thermal developing recording material based on the output of the sensor B1, the amount of light of the light amount correcting circuit A1being corrected to reduce the amount of light when the surface temperature of the presser roller is raised.
