To provide a car disk drive unit operating in a stable condition which is hardly affected by temperature changes in a vehicle, a car disk drive unit1of the present invention comprises: a casing3for accommodating a disk drive2;a Peltier element4used as means for controlling the temperature being close to the upper surface of the casing3through an intermediate plate18;a heat sink5being close to a base slice50on the lower surface of the Peltier element4;an electric fan6for ventilating air to the heat sink5;and a housing11for accommodating the casing3in the upper part as well as securing the heat sink5and the electric fan6to the lower part.
