ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to compositions for the parenteral administration of an essentially uniform and continuous amount of a peptide, which has a molecular weight of up to about 5,000, over an extended period of time. The peptide composition comprises a compacted and partially coated C.sub.10 -C.sub.20 fatty acid salt of the peptide. Examples of peptides useful in the invention include
