ABSTRACT:
A device (1) to treat the teeth (2) adjacent to a gap (3) for the purposes of placing a dental bridge (4) that replaces at least one missing tooth has a treatment tool (5) to remove tooth material, in particular a grinding tool. The device (10has a mounting fixture (6) to fasten to the teeth of the patient that contains an adjustable positioning device (7) to position the treatment tool (5). By means of the positioning device (7), the treatment tool (5) can move back and forth toward the neighboring teeth (2) to make recesses (8) in the sides of the teeth (2) facing the gap (3).
