ABSTRACT:
There is provided a carton11for containing two rows of bottles12. The carton has a base, a pair of oppositely disposed side walls and a top panel section. The top panel section has side areas22, 32which lie over the tops of the bottles12and a central area26, 35between the bottles which is at least partially depressed relative to the side areas22, 32. A handle portion can extend between the side panels and is constituted by opposite side areas22being linked together by central area26and handle web panels24. The handle portion can be lifted from the depressed position into a raised carrying position.
