ABSTRACT:
A kitchen appliance that includes a housing that has an elongated cavity that is adapted to receive an elongated light source such that a user of the kitchen appliance can see at least some of the light emitted by the elongated light source when the kitchen appliance is used for food preparation. In some embodiments, the elongated light source may be an electroluminescent wire.
