ABSTRACT:
A motor drive is connected to an accessory by a splined shaft which in turn s connected to one end of a sleeve. The other end of the sleeve is threaded to a shaft associated with the accessory. The accessory shaft is also connected to the sleeve thereto by a shear pin. When the pin is sheared, the sleeve is rotated relative to the accessory shaft until the splined shaft is disconnected from the motor drive.
