ABSTRACT:
A light-sensitive material comprising a light-sensitive layer containing silver halide, a reducing agent, a polymerizable compound and a leuco dye provided on a support, characterized in that the leuco dye has the following formula (I): ##STR1## in which each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently is hydrogen, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group or an aryl group, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 together with the neighboring nitrogen atom form a 5- or 6-membered ring; X is hydrogen, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, --NHCOR.sup.3 or --OCOR.sup.4 (each of R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 is an alkyl group or an aryl group) or --NR.sup.5 R.sup.6 (R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 have the same meanings as for R.sup.1 and R.sup.2); Y is an alkyl group or an aralkyl group; Z is hydrogen, an alkyl group or an aryl group; and each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, X, Y, Z and the benzene ring A may have one or more substituent groups.
