This invention is a group of PGF.sub.1.sub..alpha. -type oxaphenylene compounds, and processes for making them. These compounds are useful for a variety of pharamcological purposes, including inhibition of platelet aggregation, treatment of asthma, labor inducement at term, and cervical dilation.
