ABSTRACT:
An antisense oligonucleotide having anti-carcinogenicity, for example, an inhibitory action on growth of cancer cells and a therapeutic or prophylactic action on cancer and the like, as well as an inhibitor of cancer cell growth and a therapeutic or prophylactic agent for cancer, which comprise the antisense oligonucleotide are provided.An antisense oligonucleotide to a nucleotide sequence of positions 47 to 51 of 7SL RNA of the signal recognition particle (SRP), an inhibitor of cancer cell growth comprising the antisense oligonucleotide, and a therapeutic or prophylactic agent for cancer comprising the antisense oligonucleotide.
