ABSTRACT:
The object of the invention is to provide a method and device with which it is possible, in a simple and rapid way, to form a buttonhole in a fabric which requires no further marking.The object of the invention is achieved by providing a method for producing a buttonhole in a fabric, in which an opening is formed in the fabric by means of an ultrasonic welding treatment, after which the edges of this opening are fused, to form the buttonhole.
