The present invention provides methods of use of oxadiazoanthracene derivatives of the formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof,wherein A, B, C, R, R1, R2, R3, R4and R5are as herein described, and wherein said methods of use include uses for the treatment and/or prevention of disorders and diseases, such as diabetes.
