ABSTRACT:
A resinous impact-energy absorber1includes a cross rib11that includes four ribs11A and a connected portion11B. The four ribs11A are connected with each other in a single cross shape by the connected portion11B. Each of the ribs11A has an opposed edge11C and a side edge. The opposed edge11C has a distance S1from the door trim2. The resinous impact-energy absorber1also includes one outer wall12connected with one of the side edges of the ribs11A. The at least one outer wall12has a contact edge12A capable of making contact with an outside surface of the door trim2. The resinous impact-energy absorber1also includes at least one seating face14for securing the cross rib11to the outside surface of the door trim2via the at least one outer wall12.
