ABSTRACT:
A needle tip assembly includes a needle tip, a needle tip cover structured and arranged to facilitate installation of the needle tip onto at least one of a pen needle, a pre-loaded syringe, and an injection device, and at least one of an arrangement for preventing re-installation or re-use of the needle tip, a safety mechanism coupled to the needle tip via a living hinge, and a safety cover non-removably coupled to the needle tip.
