ABSTRACT:
A ternary composite with thermal stability of up to at least 200.degree. C. Is formed using a thermally stable matrix resin, high tensile fibers, and borosilicate or sodium tetra borate glass particulates. The composite has stability to acids, toxic wastes and may be formed into sheets, shapes, tubes, containers, flooring materials and the like for use in aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial, nuclear containment or simply building material applications.
